PPSA

Welcome to our Personal Properties Securities Act (PPSA) blog.

The PPSA establishes a single national law governing security interests in personal property in Australia.  The practical implications for the business community are wide and far reaching and given the complex nature of the PPSA, this new regime for security interests may cause some confusion (and debate).

Through this blog we hope to remove the complexities and explain what the PPSA means for business, and help you to protect your assets.  With the New Zealand and Canadian models we have a good sounding board for how to tackle the issues and establish a more robust system here in Australia.

We hope you enjoy reading our PPSA blog.  If you have any questions or suggestions for topics, please let us know.
